Art and animals are two neccesities in my life. I can't imagine the world without either one. They are intertwined in my life and in my work. I received my BFA in fine art photography from SUNY Brockport back in 1991. At the time, I was also milking cows and riding horses (a lifelong passion). The cows were an intricate part of the collage work I was doing and I knew that in order to be successful in art,it had to come from the soul.
Today, I specialize in photographing animals of any kind. I view them as dignified, noble creatures whose purpose here is far greater than many people imagine.
